Kelong trip...and school!!!!

Hmm.Dunno why.I feel like posting about my holiday kelong trip...In case you don't know...a kelong is this wooden house in the middle of the sea.So we went to one in malaysia with my uncle's colleagues .Went to changi village first to eat breakfast then went to the ferry terminal to board the boat that will take us to the malaysia checkpoint..The changi ferry terminal is actually quite out of date...

Then we went to the check point...went to a nearby city to eat...Then boarded the ship to the kelong...Wa...The ship's window's were all spoilt!And it was raining heavily...WE were all drenched.So after what seemed like a long period of time we finally reached.It was still raining!After we settled our sleeping arrangements...we fished!Yes...In the rain.But who cares?We're already wet.Let me tell you...The type of hook you use is veryyyy important in ensuring whether you catch any fish...I fish for 1 hour before realising this...Somemore i casted my reel very far...wanted to catch big fish mah...But never think small hook cannot catch big fish...Sommore the kelong i was in was not in big sea!and I refused to use bait...YOU KNOW WHY?Because the bait is actually fish meat!...The meat was seperated from the bones while the fish was still alive and jumping about!!!!Gross right?

But its not because i never use bait so i cannot catch fish...No!Once i changed the hook...The fish kept biting...Cast near the kelong also fish bite...Anyhow cast...the fish anyhow bite.Haha...Its because i changed to this shiny hook with shining blue threads surrounding it...Fish are attracted mah!And somemore....Most of them are hooked by the mouth!Must be they go bite the hook...

And you know whats the best fish i caught?A grouper!A small one...but nevertheless a grouper!Guess what is the strange thing!Other fishes when caught put up a lot of resistance...But my grouper did not...It was went until i reeled it up that i realised i caught a fish...Haix...but a cruel fate fell upon my grouper...My grouper was one of the several fishes chosen to serve as bait to catch a larger fish....They were hooked by the flesh by a large hook and thrown back into the sea...Some fishes were never seen off again...And some had bite marks on them...So painful...

Thats basically my kelong trip.

Now lets talk about school.School started for two weeks already...I'm finally wearing long pants!!Haha.Upper sec le...OF course have more pressureI'm in311!It totally rocks!Made some new friends!

Hmm...So far i feel that these teachers are very good in teaching!They help me understand the concepts easily...Especially maths...Hmm...i think i should be glad to have mr liu as my chem teacher...He is actually quite a humorous and nice guy...compatible with ms fu.Haha.Our chinese teacher also has an intesting character....She relishes the thought of punishing students...Thats very unique!Haha.Our teachers have all unique teaching ways...

Hmm...But still....I dunno why i always anticipate the end of school...Mabye its beacuse then i can go home and slack.haha

Its a new year...And i look forward to having a great time with 311!

Hmm,today it rained.It always rain on first day of schools!It just like the sky also dun like the thought of us going back to school.haha.Hmm,dunno why...i always wanted to wear long pants...Now that i'm wearing...it doesn't seem that nice anymore...Very hot...Whole day i was sweating...But my class is okay lah...311 rocks!haha

Now...class committe...Haix...i didn't win the vice-chair role...depression....Dunno whether my luck no good or i'm no good...Last year also like that...lose to kit yarn by a few votes...I want cry le...

But at least i'm CIP rep...i'm super enthu abt CIP de...Haha.

Then we hav some games...and a talk...then we were dismissed at 1!Yay...Unfortunately...school normally ends at 2.30...

Ahahah...我回来了！！！！I just came back.Okay lah...not really 'just' i came back on fri...abt 11.First thing i did was visit class blog...See.i l'm such a good member of 211'09.Haha.And...Why nobody post abt chalet?!So sad lor...Last gathering of 211 and no body bothers to post.haix!And another thing...I hate the class allocation!!!!!!!!Now i'm not classmates with yen shen and my other friends... Ahhhhh.Why can't we not split?!Why!!!!!

Haix...now about open house.

Nan hua open house was very lively.The performance and static displays put up were interesting.Everyone was very busy about...Me?I was at the second level...Emceeing.Haix...everyone tells me abt what a lousy job i have done...Something about me not being clear,then cannot hear what i say.Sorry lah!I'll try to better next time lor...Anw emceeing was tough.Talk and talk until throat pain...Still it was fun!I would love to do it again.

So...flyer trip.Me,Mr Lee,jw/and his bro, yw, jy, jh , ys , jaz ,shona, jesslyn, annbel and glenda went to the flyer last mon.Meet at city hall mrt.Haha,i remind everyone not to be late,then i was the latest.So ps!

Then we went to eat at marina square(i think).No wait.We waited for mr lee first.Then we ate.I wanted to eat japanese food but dunno what to order so...ate chicken rice instead.So common but cannot help it...Dun know what to eat mah.Then jing yu so funny.He vegetarian mah then he saw the indian food was vegetarian so he order.It turned out to be too spicy for him to handle.haha.

After eating we went on the flyer.Mr Lee posed as a student to get student price.Hmm,can't say i blame him.The difference of the price is $19.50.So sad, by the time we got to the flyer...No more sunset.Haha.But the nightview is also nice.The capsule wasn't dark at all.It was lighted by camera flashes of the girls.haha

Overall the 30min trip was fun...but abit ps at the end.mr lee bought two of our photos.Spend $30...Felt bad for him...

ST MEDIA CLUB CAMP 2009

just came back from camp today.the straits time media club camp.Overwhole, it was a camp where i learned a lot of things.so day 1-yesterday.registration was at 9.so i woke up early and took a train to Braddell.in the end,i was the earilest and had nthing to do...waited for the other guys and then made our way to SPH(Singapore press holdings duh!) where the camp is held.

First came 'welcome remarks and ice braekers' nothing special about that.Then came 'the newspaper industry'by the Vp and head ,editorial projects unit, english and malay newspapers division- Mr Peter Khoo.We got an insight of the newspaper.it was a very humourous talk and i learned a few facts.for example: did you know the printing cost of The straits Time is $1.32 but the selling price is $0.80?But they never make a loss!they gain money from advertisements in the newspaper.if i remember correctly a fullpage colour advert for one day cost 10 thousand dollars!And he told us for a sports journalist, the story had to be written during the match.Because stories have to be submitted by 1.30 for printing.and by 4.30,people would have to deliver the newspaper.The newspaper would have to be delivered by 7.Bet you didn't know this.

next came a session by the editor of IN and the LITTLE RED DOT- ms serene goh.it let us find out 'who we are' in the newsroom by taking a personatilty test.Haha,i'm an editor! Then afterward we spilt into groups to come out with a magazine.My group was a very jokey one that joked a lot(--!!!).we decided to call our magazine OUT!Why out?because it is not 'IN'.Haha.And in our magazine we have a column on relationship.Haha,it inculdes 'how to get rid of unwanted admirers, and tips on courting a girl'Woah!Let me declare that I had nothing to do with these at all!And there was another column on how to cheat in exams with a disclaimer 'try at your own risk'.Ha,everyone laughed when our group presented our idea.Ms Serene goh was also in hysterics after hearing our idea.Of course i was the presenter lah.Because she liked our idea we had a reward,Bags of everyone.YAY.Its those kind that is very cool.red and white.

Then came lunch.Lunch was DELICIOUS! Then came a session on how to get the best stories.It talked of journalists trying to get a good story.like for example in a wake, the jornalists would not go straight up to the weeping mother and say' eh aunty,your son died arh?' that would kill the story right?instead they catch people before they emter the wake.

Next came a tour of the straits times newsroom.we saw the enviorment in with journalists work.But not a very interesting component.Then came a session on how to take the most compelling photographs by a straits time photographer.Yen shen would like this lor.He told us to capture the essence of the scene and turn staticts into people.Like if you had to take a boring picture at a press conference you should capture the shot when they were about to sit down or about to leave.

Next up came a session on razor tv.Its this media that providea interesting video clips on current affairs and things that happen in Singapore.And it the clips are raw which mean that they are unedited.The presenters let us have a chance to interview them.First up came two girls who persistently tried to find out information from the presenters.very funny.second round my school mates saboed me in forcing me participating as an interviewer.The presenters now acted as fann wong and christ lee and we were supposed to find out infomation from them.i must say i did a good job and everyone was laughing with me as i asked the questions.haha,sounds like i'm boasting but i'm not!

Then we had a break and then we had a press conference with Denise Keller,MTV VJ and ambassador for 'The Climate Project Singapore'She shared with us a powerpoint about the world and why we need to save it.The bottom line message was' the earth was dying'After that we had a chance to ask her questions.After her talk i was suddenly inspired to change my ways and be eco-friendly.i even got her autograph after the talk!

The rest of the events are pretty much not interesting.So next day-today, we gathered at SPH at 8.First time in holiday history that i woke up so early.After registering,we boarded the bus to go to the underwater world.When we reached we had a very sumptous breakfast.There was sushi,eclairs, carrot cake, chicken wings etc.i still drool when i think of the breakfast.haha.After that we watched a interesting fur seal show at the dolphin lagoon.

Then we has a marine biodiversity talk.There were two interesting questions posted.haha the first was 'how to sharks mate?'The guy was like 'how old are you guys,14 arh,then i must choose my words carefully'He tried not to sound horny but he failed.When the male shark senses a sexually mature female,he will bite her pectoral fin and try to weigh her down so she cannot swin away, and then 'inseart his claspers into the female genitals.' for sperm realease.Lol he made it sound like the male shark raping the female shark like that.The next question was ' do sharks feel sexually satisfied after mating with a female'Lol haha,the answer was that no studies have been done on this.

After that we left for SPH.pity we didn't get to tour around the oceanium which was what was originaly planned.We collected our certs, and emo-ed at SPh cause we decided not to leave so early as the original time for camp to end was 2 and it ended at 1 today...So we basically crapped there.End of story;)

Eoy is finally over!And ACRES World animal day

Haha,attention grabbing pic.Learn from ming hui they all de.Nice right?Me and Phua Chu Kang.Took it recently when i was doing CIP at Plaza Singapura.Volunteering with ACRES-Animal Concerns Research and Education society.Its this great non-profit group that goes all out to save wild animals that are facing extinction and to rescue animals from captivity.So cool.Volunteering with them is so meaningful.Better than volunteering with national library board!Thats why volunteer with them lah!Interested in volunteering can ask me!If next year i can become class chairman,i will organise class CIP!

Back to Plaza Singapura...Went i went there,they had a display area ready.A BIG display area.So the main idea was to encourage people to break bowls.Yes!BREAK BOWLS!Soup bowls...The idea was to get people to pledge to stop eating sharks fin soup by breaking a bowl.Haha,this is very good theraphy for anger management...Should get those very violent people to come throw right?And the broken pieces are used to make a 15m mosaic of a shark...And i am proud to say they shark got completed!But mostly people is throw for the fun...not to save the sharks...But at least the message was spread out!And hehe,as a volunteer, we get to smash as many bowls as we like...To attract attention mah!It was fun.And we even screened 'sharkwaters' to generate awareness and there were people providing air brush tattoos of animals.

And just so happened there was this 'Singapore idol' event just beside us...So gurmit singh appeared in his PCK getup.Hes one seriously funny guy!We managed to invite him to throw a bowl also.(hence the photo)Very good publicity for us!That day was one of the most fun CIP daysi ever did.Everyone in ACRES is friendly.laugh and chat get CIP hours le.Join ACRES bah!

Now lets talk about EOY!So suay,my birthday is on the first paper of EOY.(Ty all those that wished me happy birthday!) Haix,chinese and history somemore!They were tough.Skip all the way to today.Last paper.ART.I attempted to apply acrylic painting...Glad it turned out okay and not a disaster as i thought!After that,we had this streaming talk...Last day of exams cannot go home early to relax....Haix.Listen to all the subjects offered.

National Junior Robotics Competion 2009

woah...its 1 month since i last posted?no wonder my blog so dead!And i just changed my blogskin.Its a blogskin that was made with the theme'toradora' which is one of my favourite animes!I strongly recommand everyone to watch it!

And since i just went for NJRC today..i shall talk about it!NJRC was a total failure...Why?Thats because one of my group members kept DESTROYING AND REBUILDING the robot, and we didn't have time to finalise the design!He even demolished the whole robot yesterday to make it smaller...Can you believe him?!Haix,no wonder we scored all zero in the runs...

Forget about the robot,why not listen to a more cheerful side?Today was like busting with activity.Poeple dressed up as eygptions, witches and even faires!Well,they were aiming for best image award!NJRC has many awards...Unfortunately i think i didn't win any?Such a pity,i was aiming for the entrepreneur award..we sold soft drinks -together with richie and jeslyn's group...they copy our idea!How could they right?!But at least we had more profits then them!HAHAHA.

OF course there were other groups selling stuff...Theres this group selling coke only want fight with us...Lol!We have a variety leh!Some more come in front of my stall and sell...really...不知死活！If they shout'$1 only!'We shout' $0.90!'Haha then we force them reduce until $0.50 which i think they never make any money for the cans!Hahaha.And some groups who were selling biscuits still had large amounts of stocks after the whole competition!Lol, must have someone like me in your group mah!

And on a random note,i found out that Mr chan actually lives on the same street as me!Just 1 block behind me!I didn't know before leh!

First...i would like to SCREAM this...HAPPY 44TH BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!!!!!!Yeah, its National Day today!!!Bad news is, common tests start on tuesday...This really dampens the holiday mood...Guess i'll just have to study while watching the parade....

Lets go back to friday...Friday, we had national day celebrations.Morning assembly was conducted a bit differnently.Reprentatives from the uniform group marched out with the flag...Somemore march so slow...Waste time. After that the drama club led us in some sort of recital?'we had no right! we had no say!And we long to be free one day!'Heard this before?It has been the same for manyyyy years.No novelty at all?

After that, i was seperated from the class.Yen shen, jing yu, yew wei,etc had to do up our project work while the class watched the vj vids and voted for the best.The celebrations was next!

Well, it would certainly pale in comparision with the NDP but its still worth mentioning!
We sung two previous nation day songs and this year's theme song with mr liu gk leading us!Mr liu has quite a nice voice, should consider joining singapore idol.haha.Sure become next Hady mirza!And i don't why everyone's critising this year's them song!I find it very nice!Lol, mabye discrimation against 陈伟联...

Finally the results for top 3 project work videos were out!Guess what?We won third place!HAHAHA,flyer tickers were us for the taking.Only one problem, they are week day tickets...After school so tired alr, who still wants to go on the flyer?So i guess i'll just have to go during the holidays!

And, really, i'm having a hard time deciding whether alan should recive the tickets when he slacked the whole time...Should i heed the chinese phrase'得饶人处且饶人' or should i deny him?Ahhh, someone help me decide!!!!

NJRC-beginning of journey

Hmm, suddenly remembered about an event that took place on Sun, so i'm mentioning it. Sunday,11 am, wei jie called me...Practically demanded that i go to the science centre to attend a breifing for NJRC- National Junior Robotics Competition...I'm not even in his group, so he pester me for what?! And, turns out i'm the only one from my CCA to go...INNO SLACKER LAH!

But...i didn't regret! Surprisingly, the whole briefing toook place in an auditorium... inside the 'DA VINCI THE GENIUS' exhibition! Ha, so of course i got a free entry inside, and i 参观 after the briefing.

After all, waste not, want not!Since i'm in,i might as well take a look!If not next time i want to come,have to pay!Haha, i sound very 'auntie' right? Luckily, i'm not the only one thats did this. All the students and teachers from the briefing also browsed around!

The exhibition was, okay. I mean, compared to a dinosaur exhibition, its defintely not that intereesting.But still i learnt a few things!

Did you know: the famous Mona Lisa already faded its colour? Its kind of yellowish now- i wonder why its still so valuable...And its original colour is nice!Very refreshing!

And, did you realise that Mona Lisa didn't have eyebrows?i didn't know too until the guide told us...Apparently, the paint used to draw her eyebrows over the years turned invisible...(Traces of her eyebrows WERE found)

There were more exhibits of course. Da Vinci was not only a painter, he was also an inventor! War inventor unfortunately,and some of his designs are really very... He created designs for a bicycle, plane, tanks, car.And theres this design for a mulit firing machine gun, which is plain stupid...(sorry for critizing!)I mean if one of the guns run out of gun powder, a solider have to add some right?But then the other guns are still firing so when he adds, he'll be killed right?

And there was also a video about Da Vinci's life...i only watched a part of it... You can't blame me! It was a 50 min boring video...I had better things to do than watch!

After browsing, i went home to touch up on vj's report...One good part about vj was that i brought Yen Shen and i's friendship sort of closer!

Ahhh,i'm so tired after doing video journalism today!Tiring day but at least we got it done!Sort of...
I met jing yu,alan at clementi and guess what, Wei Jie wore PE!Tell him wear uniform...He cannot listen!

So when we(Jing yu alan and wei jie)reached Tanah Merah to rendevous with Yen Shen,Hmm,guess who lead us in the opposite direction?

When we were done with NEWater,we went to bedok reservoir...I'm proud to say i planned the whole journey of our trip! Alan was the presenter at bedok reservoir!He was welll,a bit soft?
At least he tried right!And bedok reservoir was really beautiful!Too bad we couldn't stay and admire the scenery-Its LUNCH TIME!

Yew Wei was practically insisting that we dine at Macdonalds but we ate at a hawker centre since jing yu is vegetarian.We just slacked there and chatted for about 1 hour.Hello people?Video Journalism isn't complete yet?So we rushed to go to Changi airport to meet kent-he borrowed Yen Shen's camera and decided to split up to cover more places.But wait!Alan was missing!We had to look for him...Wasted an hour!I had to go meet kent first while the others wait...Transfered train to changi...Went i reached there,i was surprised!Changi airport's MRT station is very nice!

Later eugene and yew wei came to changi-We're fliming the newly opened Changi Water Reclamation Centre(Yen Shen and co. went to marina reservoir)!So we took a taxi from the taxi stand....Wrong mistake!We should have taken from tanah merah MRT instead as the road winds to tanah merah....So, moral of the story? What look closest on the map may not be the closest in real life....Oh well, i'll take the $10 taxi fee as fees to learn an important lesson...Wait double problems aroused when we got there!Firstly,it was very far away,and we had no money for taxi!-.-thers were no taxis avalible even if we could afford one...Secind,we did not have permission to flim or photograph the plant so it was a wasted trip....I begged and pleaded but still cannot....What lousy rule is that...After we grew tired of begging,we decided to give it up...Luckily a truck was willing to tom-pang us to Tanah merah ferry terminal.Then we took a bus from there to the Mrt Station.Saved!

On the train,Yew Wei and i were discussing anime all the way.More specifically,he was like saying how pervertic 'zero no tsukaima' was and telling me all the detauls...So pervert, still watch for what?And i watched it last year, how to remember all the details?Time flewwww,and we reached joo koon.

We're on to our final destination-Tuas desalination plant...There we encounted the same problem as Changi-we can't flim any of the premises whether inside or outside...Ha,we sneakily flimed behind the signboard out of sight!

Finally the fliming came to a close, and we took a bus to Boon Lay mrt...From there we took Mrt back.Home sweet home!

Class chalet

Just changed my blog skin!nice?Anyway,i just came back from class chalet!So tired...But anyway still going to post abt it!

The chalet was at pasir ris-Costa sands resort.Pasir ris was like so familiar to me!I used to live there...Really!But lets talk about the chalet?

Ok,i reached pasir ris mrt station around1.50,then we waited for the shuttle bus to take us to the chalet.The chalet was so smalllll!How can so many people sleep?And only the top floor which is occupied by the girls have air con,so the boys have to sleep under hot conditions...On the floor somemore!So ke lian!But its their choice?

So after viewing the chalet we went to eat at ehub...Then went cycling!Johan and a few other guys pulled out at the last minute...So around 10 people cycled.
After cycling we just played cards and waited for the bbq...Something interesting happened during the bbq.MS FU CAME WITH MR LIU! WOOO!Their 感情so 密切! Ms fu was so ps after the class' teasing!

Then,around 8...i took the shuttle bus to the mrt station.I had a date with...my com!

HOLIDAYS!~night at the museum

Ha!No school for one month!I love this.And, so friday was ptc...I had to go for inno,so basically i was there the whole day.Same as yiting,only that she was helping ms fu...So helpful right?Anyway,know my slot?It was 2 and ptc was 4 for me!So long!!!Somemore,i had my 'robot' with me(building halfway,didn't trust my cca members to not sabo).It was so heavy!And we left halfway while waiting to listen to the subject combination talk....I guess i have to work doubly hard this year to get into thriple science!

And when we came back from the talk,huang lao shi was at our class.apparently he had finished with his class(so fast!)He even got a table for himself!Of course a lot of people cursed to see him,and as expected he wanted to see my mum.He was like saying that i'm bright but lazy and my compo was once used as a model compo blah blah blah.But he saw robin and wx parents for a very long timeHa,he should have alot of 'compliments' to say!Hiax,so finally waiting a looong time,it was my turn.My results were awful,so i won't say;)

After ptc,jun hao and i went to watch 'night at the museum' at tiong bahru plaza.I feel so bad making him come to my area.(he lived in chua chu kang).Haha,i think it was because he thought he might see jesslyn!She also lives here.

Then wen xi wanted to come watch with us,so we waited for him...He took a super loooong time to come.(And he took almost half of my popcorn during the movie*grumbling*)Bt night a the museum was funny.I remember this scene where the actors were trying to escape,but the lady was in love with the guy,and cupids appeared and sung,which gave away their location!
Haha.

And...is anyone interested in catching a movie with me?I want to watch 'monsters vs aliens' but i boring watching alone!

Posting!Yay,i feel so relaxed today...Cause tomorrows the last day of school!!!!One month of lazing!I'm so looking forward to it...Haix,only that theres a lot of hw!But,i won't let it damnpen my mood!

Nothing interesting happened in school recently,so i .Wooh!won't bother writing abt it...Because it had make you sooo bored!

Anyway, just started watching this anime, its nice but a little creepy.'Vampire knight' heard of it???Haha,its the first anime that i finished watching a season in a day!Wooh! Now starting on the second one...Hope,i'll be nicer than the first!

And,i've realised its impossible to get into ODAC.Three rounds around the school,23 mins...How is taht even possible?Yen shen and i went for a trail run on mon.but my timing is :30 mins....So slow!Cross country people can get like 20mins plus,so amazing!Haixand i'm running tomorrow!AHHHH!Even though it will be tough,i'll try my best!!!

Yeah,yeah yeah!I'm hoping to get a second cca.And so far,ODACs the most suitable!But the bad thing is Mr Chan wants me to run 4.5 on thursday for entry.Unfair!!!!Glenda didn't have to do anything!Its almost impossible to improve ones stamina in 3 days,but i'll try!-as soon as i finish art...

And even if i get into ODAC,i don't know whether i'll be able to adapt,or whether the existing members will be able to adapt to me!(Hmm,i heard that females dominate the club,don't know whether its true!)

So meanwhile,i'll just go running afterschool and cheer myeslf on!Louis!!!!Jyjy!

Thursday was napfa...And assembly day.And i didn't remember to switch the tie into my new bag.Result?I standed for 1 period.Great.I was laughed at by my class and friends walking in.Luckily,huang lao shi held us up for recess-telling us the marks.Who never hand in what,then get zero for CA1 etc.Isn't class lesson enough?HES ALWAYS DOING THIS!So i just put the blame on him,say no time to buy.Ha,i'm so bad.Anyway,because of this. mr mun asked me to sit after one period.So good of him!

(ps,assembly was a reallly boring talk about how settlers cafe came to be.*yawns*)

Ok,i shall skip to music.Ms yeo saw us making a lot of noise,then scolded the chairman-yen shen.I feel sorry for him.Ai ya,our class is naturally lively.Can't change.Anyway,there was this funny episode.Robin didn't like what ms yeo's english and and sort of argued back.The whole class couldn't stop laughing.

But then after class,ms yeo got really angry and shouted for us to come back to the music room.That was because the class went back in THREE different directions.So off course the class got scolded-espically the councillors and yen shen(again).Haix,yen shen,who asked you to be so responsible that you have chairman and councillor positions?
But then the way ms yeo scolded was very funny.I tried super hard to suppress my laughter.But when she said ' you think everthing is a BIG FAT joke?'can't control anymore.So i tried to turn it into a cough.Just be cause i was tie-less,she asked me to stand in front of the class.Lucky never scold me much.Anyway,know why laughed?Big and fat,sounds like describing someone...Haha.

Today,skipped maths and lit for competion.Inno has enough of not winning anyone.We are showing the rest of nan huarians that we are as achieving as them!We're a dragon aroused from its slumber.GRR.(And we broke our personal record,13 out of 15 got in!)Ha,it was ME who brought inno luck.

But,nowadays i find art really confusing.I mean i don't know what i have to do.It comes of not getting sleepy and wanting to sleep in the class.haha.So....now,i've made my new years resolution:I'm gonna quit being such a slacker!

I hope i don't back out last minute and run off screaming while pulling my hair!That would seriously ruin my reputation.Haha

Hey,its the first week of school.Nothing happened in school that is worth a post,so i shan't bother talking about school.

Anyway,i did say i was going to post abt TRYathlon didn't i?So here it is!(abit late,but who cares?XD)

Ok so it was 6.30.Woke up and showered.(Just like a normal school day)Ha,only difference was that i was wearing this 'MILO' singlet,and was heading to sentosa.(I liked the singlet.Can show off my muscles!haha,jk)Anyway,the ENTIRE way jammed from harbourfrount.And there was three lanes!I guess this was to be expected?Then when i reached sentosa,everywhere was filled with TRYathletes.Its so cool to say that.XD

Anyway after getting out of the bus,still had to queue for my bike.The queue was like so long!(and hardly moving).After queueing for 30 mins,i got really fed up.Shh,don't tell anyone.*Whispering*I cut the queue to the front*whispering*.Haha,i'm so evil right?Everyone wearing the same clothes,which makes it hard to recognise who was in front.Guess what,i forgot to collect a helmet.Genius.>.<

After that loitered around the beach.Half-dressed.Woah!Mistake,i'm not some sort of perverted guy!It was swimming for the first event.What did you think i was doing!!! XD

So like i said,swimming was the first event-in the ocean.Brr,so cold.Plus had a lot of grazes.Sea kept thrusting me towards the beach.looking around me...i see people not having so much difficultly.And they were all using freestyle!!!I guess next time i swim at sea,i'm going to try using it. And and i'll surely win.YEAH!

Ok,after swimming i was totally exhausted.i thought we had get a break after each event.I was wrong.The events were continuous.'Argh' so tired already still have to cycle and run!What is this?!

Anyway,i still cycled.*woo!*Didn't know i had so much stamina...And you know something,i was supposed to be disqualified for cycling(no helmet),and i stopped halfway just for this.wanted to turn back,but then the 'traffic' was like ongoing.Trying to cut across is impossible-unles i wanted to cause an accident.Then the volunteer was like'OY!!!Slow down' to passing riders.Ha,no one listened to him.After that he got fed up and asked me to continue.By then i lagged behind-a lot.So after the so-called-'rest',i was geared up and ready to go!Er,in this case,ready to cycle!So sped and overtook many cyclists.Yelling'KEEP LEFT!!!!'was so fun.(It was a term we needed to shout if we had an intention of overtaking).

And cycling was Dangerous!Had to swerve alot of times just because some 'kids' don't knowhow to cycle.Wobble here shift there.Not familarised with cycling,then use training wheels!OK,after an exhausting 8km,cycling came to an end.Just randomly threw down my bike,then started running.

*puff puff puff*I started sprinting.Wanted to catch up!But had to stop a few minutes after.i guess i'm out of shape?Inno doesn't give training in running mah.

Then rest of the journey was basically run,walk,run etc.Yay,then reached the finish line.i got a 'trophy' upon completion!Nope,i didn't get top or anything.everyone will get one to thank us for participating.I was a plain old milo can with a 'winner' sticker on it.Boring!Can't display.Only good thing is i have MILO.yeah,always be optimistic!

Hard paper...Got a lot of things forgot...Somemore i STUDYIED for it!First time studying,and i don't know how to do the paper...Its kinna demoralising!Then gt a B4 .Haixxxxx!Then we had our first self-defense(wushu) class...Supposed to be a hour class,but it was DRASTICALLY shortened because the classes never behaved, so Mr Quek had to scold.Scold for 30mins...Imagine that.After that had a few more lessons.

Not very hard.Only the last structured qn can't see the picture clearly...Lucky no marks were dedcuted because of it.

Report writing...Haven't got our papers back yet because our teacher is sick.I hope shes okay now!Heres the angry part...Huang lao shi kept us(so-called weaker students) back from 1.30-7.30 for extra lessons!Can you believe it?5hrs 30 mins of lesson!At first say 4 dismiss...Okay,2.30 mins i thought.'For tomorrow COMMON TEST!'Time passed.4 then 5.5 say 6.6 delay till 7.Arghhh!Imagine studying for that long!Then the whole time we doing 造句+听写.So me and wx and the others all grumble during that time...Now to think of it,we aren't appreciating his efforts...Huang lao shi didn't have to stay back with us!However two good things,came out of this,one the words i knew improved and we saw a lovely double rainbow around 7.Whole school was like talking abt it.Heheh,we used this to skip studying for a while!
After today,i had a conculsion:

Huang lao shi may be a real slave driver,but hes he cares for us and encourages us and is willing to go out of his way to help us!所以黄老师，谢谢你！(Haha,i'm not being paid to write this!)

I'm proud to annouce 'I'm a TRYathle!WE had swimming,running and cycling...Swim 200 metres in the sea,cycle 8km then run 2 km...It was simply exhausting!Then i got this so-called trophy.A milo can wilth my name and photo with a 'winner' ribbon sticked on it.I mean...Anyway,its a real pity if you never participate...(Shall elaborate more later...used the com for to long)

Lets talk abt today.Have this cheer competion.Then as usual the class not listening yen shen etc.Chairman 不好当。Then yi ting and jaz dunno why cry,others followed.Have to be so emo for a cheer?But then the relief teacher did a good job asking everyone to do the cheer.First time see class enthu for something.Lols.Then today assembly also quite funny lah!Had this performance of a coffeshop.I mean they act as hawkers in a hawercentre.XD

Ok....I know my last post was like kinna emo,just ignore it!So LNY is comming,let me wish everyone a happy new year!(Try to finish whatever hw you have today,so we can play tomorrow!Yay!Only that i know i can't finish!Oh well.)

Friday was the celebration.We got to lao yu sheng!Then like only half the class was left to lao cause the others all performers or in malaysia.So sad for them! At 9 we were supposed to go for the concert.Ok,so we went there at nine.Sat till nine thirty.guess what?The concert still haven't started!What the.If need more time to prepare,then don't ask us go so early lah!If need thirty minutes more,then ask us go thirty minutes later.Start liao,got this performance by C.O. i think.Lion dance was next.Also dunno what they were doing for the first part.Like Mr foo was massaging the lions or something.Then suddenly rushed out 6 other lions.i thought they want to attack the first two.Lols?

Later had this string and fan performance,by NHDS again.Ha,there was this girl got caught by her own string.Should be never practise enough bah.Afterwards,the chinese drama society gave this very entertaining conversation by Feng Yu and a other guy.They have a lot of talent!

Teachers song item was next.Actually all the teachers have a quite nice voice!Can sense the hardwork they put in.My chinese teacher also had a song to sing!Oo?Very funny lahs!He sing halfway,then hear him mumble a little.After that he said' 对不起，望词了!'Haha,he forgot the lyrics le!

Still have a few other items after that,can't really remember all...And because the concert start late,it also ended late.Actually late thirty minutes only.Know why we were dismissed 45mins late?Its cause Mr _ _ _ didn't know how late it was,and dismissed classes two by two.Fourty four classes leh!And my wonderful class was directly in the middle.Oh,isn't it lucky?We were the last to leave!

Afterwards went back to ZHANGDE.See some teachers.And i was the only sec 2 there.All the others have activities...Haix,so i roamed about feeling very lonely with no one to talk to(nt even the teachers!the security guards bar-ed entry into the school untill 1.30)By then some teachers go home liao.Oh well,at least it was better than last year.The school was closed when i gt there!

(I couldn't bring myself to write this in chinese...I bet no one can understand what i wrote if i did!)

Ok whatever.No use harping on the past.Why not talk about the present?So we had no lessons today because of OC.Whole day can hear cheering!First thing there was this really boring and long talk about,err,character development?Then it was lunch.I won't excatly dscribe it as lunch.Know why,the whole canteen's seats very occupied by student leaders and sec 1s.;(Then we all have to eat standing...So ke lian.After that had this poster drawing thingy.BORING.When to auditorium afterwardss.Supposed to listen to this enviormental talk.It was pitch dark.Bad move.A lot of people listening to music...Hard to spot in the dark.No one got a scolding.Or mabye they were spotted but mr chia wanted to give them chance?Mr chia scold in a very funny way...Its like you know he is angry but somehow you can't help laughing at his tone.Weird arh?
Then bell rang.Went home.End of story.

Ok so first week of school passed!All i can say is...we still have the same old naggy chinese teacher.Same nice english teacher.Same old...OK,you get my point.Most off the teachers are going to be the same!Emphasis on 'most'?History and geog teachers changed.Geog is going to be practically unfun,and history a lot more interesting!

So on thurs,there was this assembly talk on discipline,CCA...These sort of stuff for the secondary 1s.Hmm,i wonder if there are any juniors fro my primary school?Should have but...Back to the point!i got $150!An 'eagles' flew to me!And it was so embarrasing...On my way to the stage,i got stopped by Mr _ _ _ _ who asked me to tuck in my shirt.So having no time to waste,i just folded.Guess what?By the time i got to the stage,my shirt was untucked again.Somemore Mr lam also mentioned it!I nearly fainted with embarrasment....Oh well,at least i still gt the $$$!

So the open house was like on Sat.Have you ever been to other schools open house before?Like everywhere you see so many families.Nan Hua is like got lesser people want to see.Must be the inaccesibility.Take one MRT must walk so long.

Like i said,inno exhibit is in the hall.The whole place was like 'closed' not to let air-con escape.Then outside people see,how they know got exhibit inside?So,lucky councilors provided school tours. Still gt some displays put up by uniform groups and other CCAs.Da-di-da-di-da.And thats basically open house 2008.

CTs are finally over.YAYs!!!lols ok CT ended quite some time ago bbut i didn't have time to post until now.very busy what!ok so today was kinna expensive...huh?!lols read on to find out y.first i woke up LATE,7.00. WTF?! u find it early?i dpn't!my school is very far from here leh.So i grabbed my bag,(+ some money for taxi fare) then rushed out.(of course i gt bathe lah!quick shower)then went to flagg a taxi.wa...every day so many on the raod,today gt a few.all occupied. haix,then like 7.10 one came.heng arh.reach school in 15 mins.phew,thought i was gonna be late.so i was like 'damn close man.nearly broke my 8 month record of having a clean profile in the cockpit system.'

that was before i looked at the taxi meter. total fare was like $9.30. So Ex. Taxi drivers must be all very rich nowadays.Haix,my wallet feels VERY empty now.

Then first period,open space.ms fu tell me i what never hand in H econ stuff.冤枉阿! i thought i handed in yesterday!then she give out the exam timetable for EOY.so dampening.CT just ended lehs.and then all long papers.haix.then i saw the date.ahaha,no exam on my birthday,somemore no school.YES!feels like they arranged 10 oct to be malay and normal chinese(no exam for those who didn't take) just for me.so i can saty home and chill on that special day.wahpiang e,u all still remeber what 10 oct was on last year?i do... PSLE SCIENCE.but on the bright side,i gt A*!

then mr mun asked me to run 2.4km with brandon,something like supervising him.then halfway,gt leg cramp.pain xia.after that i walk liaos.then run finish,brandon still failed. wasted my effort.

last period SWIMMING.supposed to have test.then it rained.wasted 1.30hrs of my precious time.then after swimming ended,still raining!i was like betting with yen shen that i woudn't rain.hah,i guess i lost the bet.

ok lols,so it wss still raining,and i need to rush back to nan hua.gt NJRC presentation to do at sci centre. at first i act hero,try run in the rain.then in the end took a taxi.too heavy rain lahs,sumore wet how go competion?second time taking taxi today.

short post today.kinna busy,studying 4 common test.today we had swimming lessons.very fun.coach made me swim 10 survival backstroke+10 survival sidestroke+1/2 lap freestyple speed swimming+ 1/2 lap frogstyle speed swimming.Hahaz,today was the second time i swim survival.nt very gd yet.i bet if i were to drag sum drowning person with my skills,that unlucky fellow will die.hahaz!

Lols,so today was kinna boring and a teensy bit fun,SCARY two!boring coz most of the lessons were boring.(juz like thinking).the fun part was like at lit class.had to do some sort of character hot-seating.wa!i had to act like a female character that was going to be married to ron.(acted by xuan lin).so it was like so awkard but kina funny too.its a new experience.then dismisall time came,and huang lao shi was at our class alr.wanting me, wx etc the ppeople to stay back and finish his hw!heng we gt some kind of maths test then when it ended-we quickly zao-ed.ha ha,lao shi,u snooze,u lose!want me to stay back?nt so easy!

then afterward i went back 2 zhangde ,trying to sell my tickets. Suddenly i realised i gt unsupportive friends.!@#$%^&*().heng mr Ray buy 1.thanks mr ray !!!then he was saying"see,after so many years i still love u." of course he say it with humour lah!
that was like so touching.he was my form teacher when i was p3,still he so supportive.now i go do huang lao shi's compo,so byes till the next time i post.lols?

So,yesterday was the ROD(Retirment of duties) of inno,or 南华创新学会!And it is held from 9 to 5.30...which is like EIGHT HRS!But its quite fun larhs...First we go there,slack 4 half hour...then some kind of riddle games...(boring).after i guess that shows i'm a lousy captain ball player? Then after lunch,we went up to AVA 1 to watch some vid abt a last lecture a dying professor made...Then its the prize presentation...

Got some prizes like :who is liely 2 win D, but lose the ticket award;who is likely to become a nun award:who is like likely never to win an award award

Guess which award i won?Club clown award?NAH!i won the: most likely 2 become rich award!I guess i look rich?ha! Afterward they give out club tee...(very nice leh!)

And this brings me back 2 the time in zps,when i was in I & E.When Mr Lim and Mr Chua haven't left...Lasr time they said the club tee was 4 memebers who had proven themselves as good members...i not a good enough memeber meh?4 years already i still don't have.Unfair !And i remember i was the open speech ranger 4 the heritage garden...with lapat.obviously mrs tan(the science teacher) doesn't think well of me...so that i must have a parner.Sad-ed:(

And that brings me back 2 my last year form teacher,whose name i won't mention.She also don't think well of me.And her name is _ _ _ _ _ _. She praised all the rangers in my cca,4 their presentation skills,except 4 me.Biased against us boys...Lucky got my friends support me(Joel,Ying kun,Wai kit,Jun wei,Vivian,Pei ning...etc)Thnx guys(and gals)!I remember 1 incident very vivdly in the enclosed space of my mind...(sounds like i doing compo arh?)My file was very thick,(and still is,OLD HABITS DIE HARD,i suppose) and my teacher didn't like it.She got some peopel 2 help me file when i was having recess(CUNNING!) My class should really thank me.i gave them 1 hour of free time.Y?coz i purposely go mess up the papers that is propely sorted.so must sort again.HA!And i want my file 2 be messy,cannot meh?My teacher really...undescribale...Don't like me than y make me a prefect?!

And here is another happening 2 prove that she is biased.She chose her favourite student as the head prefect(she's in charge of prefectorial matters 4 upper pri)Smmore withouut elecetion.And half the prefectorial board is against her fav student as head prefect!

Suddenly i realised that this post is super long...Summore full of grumbles...SRRY!So,i'm gonna stop typing!

Yay!my robot cleared the first round!I feel so happy!But my happiness is shortlived...Second round lost...Never mind,next year i will build a better robot!OKs,so we had to meet at Queenstown MRT first..(It was super embarrassing on the train...everyone was staring at my robot...)

Then we reached the MDIS building.SIAOX,SO BIG,LIKE 20X BIGGER THAN NAN hUA!Then we when 2 the hall...So big...and cold 2=).Brr,i still feel cold when i think of the hall...First round of my competion:Nan Hua versus Pei Hua sec.Fight commence!(easy to fight,the robot too tall,topple when get pushed)

Second round:Nan Hua versus i forgot what school...Their robot also tallbut very heavy,cannot push.Then is they push mine,to the side of the ring...Walao,mine got stuck,cannot reverse...****.Ai yah.Then the refree counted to ten,and i lost.UNFAIR!
After the competition,i went exploring outside the hall.(nthing else 2 do.lols?)Wah!so many vending machines!More pro,got 1 ice-cream vending machine!MDIS students really got gd life.

After that,is the finals!Our school claimed championship 4 SUMO!yays!

ok so todays was PTC.and wx was like position 33 in class(my register no.) and 200 sumthing in level.WTF?!very worring 2 hear that.my scores i think is like around wx...Y nan hua must have 11 sec 1 classes?thats like 40times11!(estimate every class got 40 students,lols?)which is 440!scary...i must really work 3 times harder...

today,we got 3 tests!first is h econ,must cook fusion dish.(my first time cooking fusion,i'm surprised it didn't taste awful...lols after that we had p.e,practice standing broad,sit-and-reach...(not very diffcult lah.)then after that got maths test,algebra questions...walao,when i checking,i found out 1 question is wrong...but no time 2 change.y?coz time up alr !haiz,i watched my 3 marks fly away and cannot do anything abt it...then afterwards art exam.i forgot 2 bring paint.(nt only me forgot lah).we have to paint a can drink.i draw the can super nice,but still nid 2 input paint...(hard 2 input,i draw so small).And yesterday was so not a happy labour day.must prepare 4 so many tests...
